The RoomPerfect™ technology calibrates the soundbar for any room and any placement, always achieving the best possible sound performance when mounted as an on-wall speaker or placed on furniture.
Three renowned Air Motion Transformer tweeters, three dedicated midrange drivers, and two powerful woofers, combined with amplification power of 1.600 watt, turn every movie and musical selection into an extraordinary experience, far beyond what a common soundbar or any built-in TV speaker can deliver. Based on the renowned Model S speaker technology built into an extra-wide design, the Model S Soundbar can even serve as a powerful high-end audio loudspeaker for music, providing excellent stereo imaging and soundstaging.
Made from machined solid aluminum front and back panels, a low-resonance MDF frame with five acoustically separated chambers inside, and lacquered in matte black or immaculate high gloss black with gold details and signature strings, the Model S Soundbar is as beautiful as it is timeless. Custom finishes are available on request. Every soundbar is assembled and finished by hand in Skive, Denmark.
Steinway Lyngdorf’s integrated system approach ensures the ideal amplifier match and the best system performance. The Model S Soundbar is powered by four amplification channels from the Steinway & Sons A1 or A2 digital power amplifier, while the Steinway & Sons stereo or surround processor with RoomPerfect™ adapts it to the room acoustics and ensures the best possible sound performance anywhere.
The soundbar is made from machined solid aluminum panels for the front and back side, which are mounted to a low-resonance MDF frame with five acoustically separated chambers inside. This provides the best foundation for the high-quality speaker drivers, and ensures the purest sound from the highest to the lowest notes – even when playing louder.
The Model S Soundbar differs from any other soundbar by reproducing real bass, as powerful and punchy as the musician or creator of a movie soundtrack intended. Despite the unusually shallow construction, the two 10’’ woofers are a long-throw design, with a four-layer voice coil, ultra-rigid anodized aluminum cone, and a very powerful neodymium magnet. The renowned AMT tweeters and midrange drivers complete the performance with extraordinary clarity and details.
Every Model S Soundbar is assembled and finished by hand in Denmark. This soundbar is a statement in quality and design: The aluminum front is anodized in matte black or lacquered in high gloss black, the tweeter frame in matte black or gold, and the sides bronze-gold colored with black strings resembling musical instruments. Custom colors and finishes are available on request.
