High-performance audio gear can be affected by even minor vibrations transmitted through the floor. The Solidsteel S2-3 audio stand uses quality materials and construction to minimize those vibrations. The three open shelves are ideal for oversized audio components, such as a power amp, preamp, or power conditioner.
S2-series stands are Solidsteel's most affordable, but they're still solidly built with audio performance in mind. Each shelf is made of vibration-dampening MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard), and supported by aluminum pillars. The pillars rest on solid steel carpet spikes that virtually isolate the stand — and the components it holds — from vibrations transmitted through the floor. A set of Solidsteel protective discs are included for use on a hardwood, laminate, tile, or vinyl floor.
