The C 700 V2 amplifier features NAD's BluOS system, a top-notch streaming technology for integrating all your Wi-Fi connected sources, like TuneIn, TIDAL, and Spotify. Pair this amp with your speakers of choice for a complete stereo system in your main listening room. Then when you want to expand into other rooms, add some Bluesound speakers to your network to play music throughout your home.
Of course, you still get an array of physical connections for separate audio components. Toslink optical and coaxial inputs accommodate digital components like CD players. And for analog equipment, you get a phono input for a turntable plus an additional set of line-level RCA connections. Or, if you just want to stream something from your phone without connecting to Wi-Fi, this amp has two-way Bluetooth on board.
For even more versatility, there's an HDMI eARC connection for your TV. You can have a solid two-channel stereo system to watch movies or concerts. Add a powered subwoofer using the mono sub output to hear the rumble of an explosion or the lowest of bass licks.
The C 700 V2 delivers 80 watts of amplification at 8 ohms, but it's also 4-ohm stable, making it a solid choice for speakers that might need a little extra “push." And it uses NAD's high-fidelity HybridDigital UcD circuitry, which runs cool and stays clean while delivering authoritative, dynamic sound.
One of the most exciting upgrades that NAD gave this "V2" version of the C 700 is the addition of optional Dirac Live room correction, coming as a firmware upgrade in early 2025. Dirac takes measurements using a separately purchased microphone to “read” your room, then calculates and applies adjustments to compensate for a challenging space. The result is more natural, enjoyable sound. The software correction suite will be available for an additional charge.
