A streaming amp with excellent sound
Marantz's MODEL M1 streaming amp lets you create a great-sounding two-channel hi-fi system by simply adding a pair of passive speakers. It's got smooth, powerful amplification, crystal-clear high-res digital decoding, and flexible streaming capabilities — including built-in HEOS, which allows it to be part of a wireless multi-room sound system. It can also handle analog and digital sources, including a TV.
High-performance amplification and digital decoding
The M1 is meticulously designed and built in Marantz's storied Shirakawa facility in Japan. Its high-performance built-in amp provides robust, clean sound with an extremely quiet noise floor and impressively low distortion. And it's stable down to 4 ohms if you want to use it with more demanding speakers.
Marantz's proprietary digital filtering is the same you'll find in their fantastic-sounding higher-end CD players and streaming components. It helps the M1 deliver beautifully clear musical detail.
Flexible streaming options
You'll set this amp up using the free HEOS app. Then you'll have access to streaming services including Spotify, Pandora, TIDAL, Amazon Music, and more. You can also access any sources connected to the M1.
Other convenient streaming options include Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Qobuz Connect, and Bluetooth.
Versatile connections in a compact chassis
This streaming amp's industrial design features a cool-looking vented top. And its compact footprint gives you flexible placement options.
It has an analog stereo input for connecting sources like a turntable with a preamp or a CD player. An HDMI eARC port provides rich, detailed two-channel TV audio. You can connect a compatible storage drive loaded with music files to its USB input. And you can add a powered subwoofer using its mono RCA output.
