The Klipsch Rebellion Premium Bookshelf Speaker is based on Paul W. Klipsch's original 1958 two way bookshelf loudspeaker, known as the H8. Each cabinet is built in Hope, Arkansas using 18 mm medium density fiberboard and finished with book matched real wood veneers. Real cloth grilles, a solid input panel, and a logo badge complete the design. The speaker comes in Black Ash, Walnut, or 80th finishes and includes a 10 year warranty.

The two way vented enclosure uses a K 81 EP 8 inch woofer and a K 702 high frequency driver on a K 703 Tractrix horn with Mumps technology. A rear Tractrix flare port helps control air movement and keeps port noise low during playback. The crossover point is set at 715 Hz. The speaker maintains a 90 degree horizontal coverage from 600 Hz to 20 kHz and a 60 degree vertical coverage from 2.6 kHz to 20 kHz.

The speaker covers a frequency range from 160 Hz to 20 kHz within 3 dB, and extends from 145 Hz to 21 kHz at minus 10 dB. Sensitivity is rated at 95 dB with 2.83V input. It can handle up to 200 watts of power and reach a maximum continuous output of 115 dB. Nominal impedance is 8 ohms, with a minimum of 3.3 ohms at 170 Hz. Each speaker connects with 5 way binding posts and measures 19.1 inches tall, 12 inches wide, and 9.6 inches deep. Weight is 32 pounds. The design works well on Klipsch KS 24 stands and fits into two channel stereo or Heritage home theater systems.
