Dynamic Surround Sound
The multiple outputs of the AVR-X2900H give you options when it comes to setting up a surround sound speaker system. You can go with 7.2 channels or take advantage of Dolby Atmos and DTS:X technologies for a 5.2.2-channel setup that uses height-based coverage. Audio is output at 95W per channel for clean dialogue, colorful and detailed music, and dynamic sound effects for movies and games.
Whole-Home Audio
Powered by HEOS and controllable using the mobile HEOS app on your smartphone or tablet, you can use the AVR-X2900H as the centerpiece of a whole-home audio experience. Place compatible speakers in different areas and rooms around your home, using HEOS to stream the same music, podcast, or TV audio to all of them, or different tracks to different zones for a customized experience.
Audyssey Room Calibration
Using the included Audyssey microphone and stand, along with MultiEQ XT, Dynamic EQ, and Dynamic Volume features, the receiver can analyze the acoustic properties of your room and calibrate audio settings to maximize audio quality. The AVR-X2900H also supports the optional upgrade to Dirac Live RC.
Next-Gen Gaming
