Musical Fidelity M8xTT Turntable
Brand New 10” Tonearm
The M8xTT turntable features a newly designed 10-inch tonearm designed by Musical Fidelity. Boasting an ultra-low resonance design, the tonearm implements an acrylic bearing ring and conical aluminum tonearm tube. With full adjustability in both VTA and azimuth, it also includes two counterweights to accommodate cartridges weighing between 6 to 20 grams. These counterweights are specially damped with TPE to avoid resonances.
Exceptional Stability
To ensure isolation, the motor is decoupled from the platter, resting on special foam within the lower level acrylic plinth. Utilizing a silicon belt, Musical Fidelity promises exceptional rotational stability- a remarkable feat for a belt-drive design. Also featuring electronic speed control, you can switch between 33 and 45 RPM with ease. The platter, supported by two floor TPE damped elements, is aluminum-made with additional inserts for enhanced flywheel effect.
Non-Resonant Acrylic Plinth
The M8xTT employs a mass-loaded design, featuring a dual-layer plinth made of low-resonance acrylic, mounted on four height-adjustable magnetic feet. The top layer isolates the main bearing spindle and tonearm mount from the drive motor, eliminating resonance transfer for improved sonic stability.
The turntable's stability is further bolstered by four heavyweight TPE damped aluminum feet with magnetic support, connected via teflon spacers. These feet are height-adjustable, making it easy to level the turntable for optimal performance.
Accesories
Also included is a heavyweight full aluminum puck for stabilizing records during play, along with a leather turntable mat that reduces noise and imparts a unique sonic characteristic. Additionally, a semi-balanced phono interconnect cable with gold-plated connectors facilitates easy connection to your preamplifier. Balanced XLR and standard RCA phono line level outputs further enhance connectivity options.
